As a child I spent my time picking weeds and flowers and dabbling in artistic endeavors.
In college I studied graphic design but found great joy drawing, painting, and sculpting botanicals in my additional studio classes. I spent almost a decade working as an in-house graphic designer and then a little less than half a year walking across the United States among the wildflowers and weeds. While studying Nature Science Illustration I realized I needed to move my passion for art into my day to day experience. I now create illustrations to celebrate the natural world and our connection to it.
